Does what it says. May 11, 2010 Clarence (Louisiana) Had three warts on my hands.
Followed the direction, and they were gone in a couple of weeks.
That simple. Great product.
That said, it only took one pad to get rid of three of them.
So, now I own a lifetime supply. : )
I'd buy this again (if I needed any more).
worked better than anything else! April 3, 2010 karobs (Arlington, VA) My 6 year old daughter had a plantar wart and a few smaller warts surrounding it on her foot. We did not want to go the freezing route at the Dr. since I had heard it was painful and might need to be repeated. So we tried the compound w liquid, which removed some of the skin but did not seem to go deep enough since the warts came back immediately. Then we tried the freeze-away which did not do anything at all (I think I was too scared of doing permanent damage so I did not freeze for long enough??) Finally we decided to try duct tape. We had some success, but it was really hard to keep the duct tape on her foot with her high activity level.
Finally we bought these mediplast pads about 3 weeks ago. She liked them because they were soft (unlike the duct tape) I would cut the pad really small to fit just over her warts (they will eat any other skin that they touch so be careful to cut it to fit!) We still had some trouble getting the pads to stay on her foot, but we usually ended up changing it 2 times per day. We started out wrapping her foot with athletic tape to get it to stay on, but towards the end we used the large flexible fabric Band Aids to cover it and that worked very well. She pretty much had the mediplast pad on her warts every day for about 3 weeks. We would pull off the loose skin or rub it off with a washcloth in the tub every few days. Happily after 3 weeks, the warts are completely gone! This is a great product!
It works...what more can one ask for? March 20, 2010 Reviewer 66 (Springfield, MO) I can't say I ENJOYED using this product or that it was "fun," but it was certainly easy and effective within a week at removing my wart. (Much less expensive and time consuming than a single trip to the doctor to freeze it off...but about just as painful if you add up all the instances of minor pain compared to that.)
Oh Thank God! February 6, 2010 Karl Eric Malsheimer Jr. (Florida) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The relief is so good I could almost cry. I had a terrible corn in which NOTHING else worked. It hurt like crazy and wasn't too pretty either. I had to wear this thing for a little over a month, but it got rid of it. If you have extremely bad one and painful one like I had this is what I did.
I put the Curad piece on the corn (so that it covered most of the pinky toe, I wasn't working about killing the extra skin to get rid of the corn and it's well worth it), then I put a non medicated pad on top of it to cushion it, and then I wrapped a band-aid around both of them to keep them in place. This is the only method that worked for me but it worked great.
Finally, the callous is gone November 4, 2009 Doug J 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've tried various techniques and products over the past years to remove, or at least reduce, a sometimes painful callous on the side of my foot, with short-term relief at best. This product actually works! Cut the patch to size, use waterproof tape as a previous reviewer recommended (great tip), change every other day and in 14 days the callous can be removed. The package size is large, I only used 2 patches, still the relief is well worth having the rest of the box sit around.
